The Egg aren’t known to ‘remix’ electronic music so for their take on ‘Good Summer’ they went to extra lengths and drafted additional musicians into the studio, reconstructing the original into a cinematic orchestral number.
With post-production and mix down input from Grant Lucking and Grant Collins this 10 minute piece ends up with a perfect balance of raw instrumentation and ambient electronica.
This combination provides the listener with a laid back chill out atmosphere that finishes off with funky horn section.
